This program calculates the straight line distance between two 'valid' California Zip Codes. The zipcodes are fetched from an MySQL database. This version works on PHP 4 or 5. The default values are for my house in San Jose and the Techshop in Menlo Park. If the zip codes are not in the database, the distance returned will be 'unknown.'
I recently added the google maps applet which is a javascript widget - This will pull in maps based on the locations supplied by the database.
